What User likes about Elephant & Castle:
I always go here after I arrive from Europe, and have a light meal to carry me through until the morning. The service is excellent - many of the staff have been there for several years and do a good job. This time I had the soup of the day and some French bread and a small beer. Perfect. This is a nice restaurant with super pleasant staff and a marvellous up-front view of the marina. They have perhaps tried a little too hard to create a Pub Feel--and fallen rather flat. The food is standard fare, generally well-prepared and VERY ample portions, but it all lacks creativity.
