Warmly welcomed and choice of interior or exterior dining. Menu is currently 31€ two courses or 42€ for three. We intended two but,as usual, ended up having dessert. Service was friendly and good. Quality of food excellent. Best foie gras we have tasted for some time. Served with a ginger emulsion which marries together really well. What Philippe B doesn't like about L'Escapade:
We had lunch on Saturday at it was an event with another chef from Lyon. The lunch with truffles was good, just good. The plates were limit cold. Overall it was expensive and not worth it for that price. I was to say that the waiter mad a very good trying to catch-up and mitigate on numbers of things. Very good job to this man. My wife and I had a lovely lunch here, in a pleasant courtyard. All the items were interesting and inventive, well prepared, and elegantly presented. Truffles will be on the menu, of course. There was also a tapas-style lunch available, which looked very promising. Highly recommended.
It is the third time I go there, and always find the same delightful and succulent cuisine. Today I had a pigeonneau with a generous slice of truffle on the top. Simply delicious. One small disappointment: the wine list is overpriced and fairly unimaginative for a regional rich in wineries.
Personnel très sympathique mais cuisine pas très constante.Certain plats étaient très bon et d'autres très moyen (poisson probablement congelé !) pas ce tarif !
Une terrasse accueillante pour l'apéritif suivi d'un bon repas accompagné d'un très bon vin recommandé par Sandrine ! Un chef très sympa et une cuisine aux truffes délicieuse !
Un accueil chaleureux. Une terrasse agréable et calme. Une carte réduite comme il faut pour assurer des produits frais. Des plats goûteux et bien présentés. Une table à ne surtout pas rater dans le coin.
