The best Korean food within Richardson without a doubt. I dare even say it's better than most spots in Koreatown in Carrolton! Cheaper and taste better. Feels like eating a homemade food made by your mother! View all feedback.
What Tony Do doesn't like about Joy Kitchen:
Been a downward sloop since I started going 5 years ago. Its been getting more pricey, and the chicken from the fire chicken has been reduced to add more bean sprouts. Get it spicy, its pretty good and the rice cakes are perfect. One of my favorite drinks, the sweet rice drink that used to be free is now $2 a pop. I do not recommend the dolsot bibimbap. It is not crispy enough and the portion size is pretty small. View all feedback.
Every time I come here order something different and they have always fulfilled my expectations, I?m just going to say that every single plate they have is delicious.
One of the mom&pa local Korean restaurants! Instead of the seafood pancake, i opted for the spicy noodles. The noodle soup was a bit salty but very tasty. The cold Korean barley tea is always refreshing. Great value and good food.
Best Korean in town! This is a hole in the wall restaurant, but they have authentic Korean food! We have been there a couple times and every time we are very satisfied with the food! I usually get the seafood tofu pot and my boyfriend gets the spicy pork and kimchi. The sizes of the dish are decent and very spicy! Their seafood pancake is very good as well. Everything there is self serviced. Last time we were there, we had to wait for 30 minutes. Therefore, keep in mind the wait may be long if they get busy. Highly recommended.
Overall, Food taste is great. But, I won?t come back here because of the amount of food you get for what you pay. As a Korean, when I saw the number of side dishes, I thought it is so lame. And Bulgogi, tons of mung beans and a very small amount of meat for 13 dollars before tax? This should be a joke. There are more Korean restaurants that serve same food for similar price or lower and provide more side dishes. I personally don?t recommend here.
Little mom pop shop. Food was good. Great spice and flavor to the tofu soup. Ramyun noodle soup was a bit spicier than expected. Overall, will revisit to support small business.
