What TheRelfster likes about Forest Den Cafe:
After a couple of times round the blue route on a warm day we were ready for refreshments so were glad the cafe has opened. We both had a ham and cheese toastie on granary bread with side salad. It was one of the best toasties I've ever had, chunky ham, melty cheese and thick, squishy, seedy bread. The side salad was a delight normally they're a boring bit of lettuce and tomato whereas this beauty included beetroot,... View all feedback. What Lottiegen doesn't like about Forest Den Cafe:
We stopped at the café after a walk around the forest. I ordered 2 coffees and 2 pannini. We sat outside as we had dogs. The coffees came out quickly. Then a waitress came out to say our pannini would be out in a couple of minutes. 15 minutes later they still were not with us. I ended up having to go in and get them. No credit cards accepted either. View all feedback.

read moreThe café at Gisburn Forest offers a mixed experience, with some customers expressing frustration at long wait times, early closures, and limited menu options. However, others have praised the beautiful location, friendly staff, and delicious food. Highlights include sandwiches, soups, and homemade cakes. The café also provides a family-friendly atmosphere, with picnic tables, a children's playground, and outdoor seating for those with dogs. While visitors may need to double-check the opening times and payment options, many agree that the Gisburn Forest Hub Café is a great spot to refuel after a day of exploring the forest, whether on foot or by bike.
