I was so excited to try their boba tea. I got the brown sugar milk tea with boba and it was just ok. What was super annoying was that their straws are too skinny for the boba beads to fit through so as you’re trying to drink your drink, almost each bead gets stuck in the straw. Then you have to try and get it out somehow to take another sip. My straw actually broke and all the tea trapped inside splashed all over my... View all feedback.
To be fair, the four stars is mostly because of the long wait which I know is due to understaffing... I pre-ordered and it took well over 30 minutes. It could also use a little friendly decor. But the drinks are without a doubt delicious! This most recent time I went, the drinks seemed a little watered down but I'm willing to attribute that to that lack of staff. Overall, reliably good.
Randomly came across A Tea Thing while driving around in the valley. It's a small Tea cafe located in a busy shopping center in Reseda, CA. Parking was a breeze and I was in and out quickly. The place itself isn't big and it doesn't really have any aesthetic going on. It's very bland. However, it was very clean! So I'll take clean overlooks. There is seating inside and you could potentially bring your laptop if you wanted to get some work done. They offer milk teas, cream drinks, coffee, tornado drinks, teas, etc… I went with a Thai Iced Tea with crystal boba and my daughter got a mango pineapple tornado. The drinks were great! I'll be back!
The drinks were good, but the workers were terrible at working at a fast pace, and the price was not worth it.
This restaurant in Reseda is truly a hidden gem! The Tornado Brown Sugar Milk is incredible and the Tropical Fruit Tea is both unique and refreshing. And of course, you can never go wrong with a classic iced Thai Tea here.
A tea thing is time and time again one of the best milk tea shops in the valley! The oat cream milk tea is a personal favorite. Creamy with a delicious flavor of tea!
