This is a farm to table place to eat. The pulled pork was awesome and they even gave me a bottle of BBQ sauce. Which I very much appreciated.
Loved, loved, loved this restaurant! It's charming and the hometown kind of place that I intend on making a special drive to eat there again...and take more people with me. One suggestion, check your ticket before you tip, because your tip may already beadded on. The menu states that parties of 5 or more would be charged an automatic tip, yet we were charged an automatic tip forour 3 adults and a child. It's perfectly fine but I ended up double tipping. Service and food was so terrific that I be reallydidn't mind though. Give this restaurant a try! I enjoyed it very much, as did the people I was with.
Bowman's has good country food...comfort food. Not the best, not the worst. The building looks larger from the outside than it is....so seating may be hard to get. Everything inside is clean and appealing although bland. Getting there may causeproblems.
Hubby and I went here for our Friday night date night. Excellent service and food. A bit steep price wise, so we want be eating here to often. But for a special occasion it's worth the price for a good home cooked meal.
It's a bit off the beaten path yet a lovely backroad country drive. Ample parking at a little spot in the middle of farm country. Discount if you pay in cash. Nice selection of down home comfort classics. The fried chicken had a near perfect breading and the meat was just right juicy. Pinto beans firm and flavorful and the dressing spiced just right. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice sunny day drive.

By far the best fried okra and crawfish in the area. The staff is fantastic, and the atmosphere is peaceful and cozy. I will always recommend places like Bowman over any chain restaurant.
The service here is absolutely outstanding, and the delicious country cooking contributes to an excellent dining experience. The vegetables are fresh, and the warm banana pudding is the perfect way to finish off a meal.
We had always heard great things about this restaurant, but we didn't get a chance to visit until today—and we really missed out! The vegetable sides were the highlight of the meal. The green beans were so delicious that I almost wanted to drink the juice after finishing them. The service was excellent—friendly and prompt without being overwhelming. This is truly the best home-cooked meal I've had away from home.
Love this family place! Felt like I was eating at my grandmother's house. Service friendly, food hot and save room for hot banana pudding served warm. Right In the middle of a not so populated area. But so worth the drive.

Casual and quick. Large quantity of good quality food. Everything was hot and tasty. Service and atmosphere was great.
This is some of the best home-cooking I've ever experienced. The meatloaf is a must-have every time. The service is exceptional, creating a warm atmosphere that makes you feel like you're dining at home.
Bowman's is clean, FRESH and phenomenal I honestly think they have the best French fries I've ever had in my life. We stopped by just for a snack before dinner with my parents, but we definitely plan on bringing my parents next visit and trying more on the menu. I got fries, corn on the cob, cornbread muffin and a roll and my husband got the BLT and we have never had fresher ingredients. All across the board 5 stars. 10 out of 10, highly recommended! This is a one of a kind place and I absolutely love it!

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a meal. You can't beat the taste of home cooking here! I dined in for lunch, and the price per person was around $10 to $20. The food earns a rating of 4 out of 5, while the service was exceptional at 5 out of 5. The atmosphere is also quite pleasant, rated at 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Fried Pork Tenderloin with Gravy, along with the Crowder Peas and Creamed Corn. The Baked Turkey with Sweet Potatoes and Peas is another must-try! As for parking, there’s plenty of space available, with a free parking lot on site.
If you’re looking for good home cooking with no fluff this is a solid choice. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Our waitress, Kelsey, was wonderful. The restaurant was easy to find due to its traditional signage.
