It's charming and the hometown kind of place that I intend on making a special drive to eat there again...and take more people with me. One suggestion, check your ticket before you tip, because your tip may already beadded on. The menu states that parties of 5 or more would be charged an automatic tip, yet we were charged an automatic tip forour 3 adults and a child. It's perfectly fine but I ended up double tipping. Service and food was so terrific that I be reallydidn't mind though. Give this restaurant a try! I enjoyed it very much, as did the people I was with.

The building looks larger from the outside than it is....so seating may be hard to get. Everything inside is clean and appealing although bland. Getting there may causeproblems.

But for a special occasion it's worth the price for a good home cooked meal.

So this place has lots of farm to table options and they have specials of the day you can check them out on their Facebook page sometimes. We tried lots of item... read more So this place has lots of farm to table options and they have specials of the day you can check them out on their Facebook page sometimes. We tried lots of items when we went but remember the items are seasonal based on availability. The chicken and dumpling pretty good didn't like the amount of dark meat but overall very good. The fried squash and veggies was very good along with the mash potatoes. The pintos were just ok and the Mac n cheese was terrible tasted like box. The hamburger steak was amazing it was cooked with onions and mushrooms which I hate mushroom texture but the flavor was very good. They also had a seasonal white corn on the cob which was very fresh right from the farm The Star was the hot banana pudding! Can't skip on this or italian cream cake both amazing choices
