The wafer plate was... read more We had brunch in the Republic. The hostess is friendly and speaks English. We ordered **** Mary, eggs Benedict, cold cut plate and waffles. The wafer plate was amazing, fluffy and light. One of the best waffles I've ever had. The eggs Benedikt was good, not especially. The served only 2 small pieces of bread with the cold cut plate. We had to ask for more bread. You have a beautiful view of the city. We waited longer than usual for our plates/drinks, even if nobody else was in the restaurant. All in all, the mood is pleasant. A must in Tbilisi.

However, the menu is somewhat pricey and has a limited selection of dishes. For instance, I would love to see Khachapuri on the menu.
