Papa Murphy's Take 'n' Bake Pizza
Papa Murphy's Take 'n' Bake Pizza
Description
This Republic take-and-bake pizza spot offers fresh, affordable pies with tasty toppings and a handy app, but experiences vary. Highlights include good value and occasional fast, accurate orders; drawbacks are inconsistent crust, missing paid toppings, inexperienced staff, long pickup waits, and spotty manager follow-up. Best for budget-conscious families and take-home meals if you can tolerate uneven service.

I ordered online and requested feta cheese to be added to our Chicken Bacon Artichoke, for which I paid extra, but it still didn’t arrive. This has happened twice now. On this occasion, the spinach was wilted and unpleasant, so I had to throw most of it away. We have always enjoyed Papa Murphy's, but the location in Republic has really declined in quality. I completed the online survey and asked for a manager to contact me, but no one ever did. A few months ago, I ordered a special Low Carb Style pizza in person, and when the staff member was preparing it, I explained that I wanted it made on the pan without crust. She seemed to misunderstand and started putting it in a pasta dish, looking at me as if I didn’t know what I was talking about. I accepted it and tried to be polite, thanking her for making it that way. However, when I got home, I realized there was no sauce and, once again, no feta! I keep paying extra for the feta, but I never receive it.
The restaurant has a clean environment, friendly staff, and offers high-quality food.
For me, the most important aspect of pizza is the crust. While all the other elements matter too, I've noticed that many pizza places with subpar service often have disappointing crusts. Making high-quality crust takes time and effort, and it can suffer if the staff isn't attentive to their work. However, this Papa Murphy's consistently delivers a great crust, and we always leave satisfied, confident in the quality of their product.
I ordered a pizza online that was supposed to be ready at 1 PM. When I arrived at 1:40 PM, I found it sitting out on a rack instead of being kept in the refrigerator. I wasn't aware I had to be there right at 1. I asked the staff, two young girls, if they would leave the pizza out if I hadn’t shown up until 4 PM, and they said yes. It seemed like no one had informed them that food shouldn’t be left out for hours. Things got heated, and they became rude and argumentative with me. I ended up leaving while they were yelling at me as I walked out the door. It was unbelievable.
