The dining experience was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, they were out of antelope, so she couldn't try it for the first time. The menu is very original, featuring a variety of appetizers all the way to desserts. It may be a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth it. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and plan to return again soon! View all feedback.
What Mike B doesn't like about Lulou's:
Past it's prime. Owners out of touch with reality. Valentines dinner at what in the past was a very memorable dining experience. HVAC blasting hot, off set by blizzard conditions every time the door opened. You used to enter into a foyer. Now only entrance blasts out the bar. Brought a very special bottle of wine to commentate the occasion. They don't do corkage! Normally $25, I offered $50. Wouldn't even consider it... View all feedback.
My first time to Lu Lou's. There were three of us and we sat at the bar. The restaurant was packed. We ordered a chili relleno to start. It was wonderful and not what i expected. The pastilla chili was filled with tempura fried shrimp, no cheese. But I worked and was very tasty. We shared three entries: salmon , antelope and braised short ribs. All were excellent and large portions. I can't choose a favorite because they were all so amazing. Now the bad part of this review. Service was horrible. Our entrees took an hour. And, the bartender (our server) acted like she couldn't care less. But, we still enjoyed a great dinner. William
We had a large party including kids and they were very accommodating the food was delicious and the service was the best I've ever had anywhere..The staff is very tentative and very friendly ...big smiles from everyone ? definitely going back soon.Food: 5/5
This is the best restaurant in Reno. Hands down. The starters are fantastic, my mom loves the lobster appetizer and I love the tempura shrimp chili relleno. I should mix it up on the mains but I dream about their onion crusted short ribs. I don't even really like that cut of meat normally. They're melt in your mouth delicious. Last trip my friend had the antelope special and my dad had scallops. Our meal is always 5 star and the service is impeccable. This is truly fine dining in Reno and imo, one of the few.Vegetarian options: We brought a vegetarian once and they were thrilled with their soup and salad options, but I would not call this a vegetarian restaurant.Parking: We park right after the restaurant in a lot next to the building.

Who cares about the customer!Food is good, but painfully overpriced. Owners should retire and let the next generation in!
The perfect intimate date night spot in the midtown area. Went here with a friend and we sat in the bar area without a reservation. The staff was very friendly, and took their time explaining the menu. We will be back! Pictured:Salmon w/ bokchoy, rice cake, and extra goodies.
