Restaurant with a reputation for excellence, but my experience was far from what I expected, particularly for a place with 2 Michelin stars. The ambiance at Racine is pleasant, with a warm and inviting decor that hints at sophistication. The soft lighting and decor create a cozy atmosphere, which was perhaps the only highlight of my visit. The service was disappointingly poor and unprofessional. Waiters were unfriendly and seemed disinterested in providing a good dining experience. They brought out our starter even before we had ordered our drinks, indicating a lack of coordination and attentiveness. The food was average at best, with many dishes leaning towards the salty side. The flavors were not well-balanced, and nothing really impressed. To make matters worse, the chef made an appearance to pour sauce into our dishes but did so with an air of arrogance, not even bothering to say hi or inquire about our meal. This level of service and food quality does not align with the high standards typically associated with a restaurant holding 2 Michelin stars. The overall experience was underwhelming and disappointing. *not recommended

We are instantly captivated by the beauty of the dishes. We quickly think of miniature paintings elegantly arranged on a plate. The tastes and textures awaken your taste buds. We are ecstatic with every bite. The products are of top quality: Foie gras cream, Carabinéro shrimp, St Pierre, St Jacques, large langoustine, Arctic char, Oscietra caviar, white truffle, Iberian pork, Miyazaki grade 5A Wagyu beef, just exceptional. Chef Tanaka comes to the dining room to add the final touch by topping juices, foaming sauces or grating truffle shavings. He is very friendly and reserved. His humility and modesty shows his desire to achieve perfection by developing modern and inventive cuisine. His team is incredible, from the brigade to the servers including a young sommelier who offers a food and wine pairing allowing us to discover new grape varieties and young talents. A big congratulations in this refined, calm place where time has stood still. Everything comes together to speak of great culinary art. An absolute favorite.
A timeless moment, thank you! Clean, pleasant setting. Impeccable service. We savored every moment, each plate is prepared with delicacy and almost surgical precision. PERFECT cooking, flavors that rise to a crescendo...the combination of flavors is astonishing, sophisticated, precise. The young sommelier was able to advise us perfectly based on our tastes and the variety of dishes. There is no fault, an unforgettable culinary and taste experience.
