Mr Tong's - Rego Park

I've been gone by Mr. Tongs for years and I've never tasted it because I've already got my way to the Chinese closer home. I checked this place for all the great reviews on Yap. I ordered the sweet and acidic combination that came with an egg roll and roasted pork rice. The rice was muddy and I was very impressed. The chicken was just okay and the little egg roll was delicious. I ordered, take and I will definitely return to check other items on the menu.

Definitely a notch above your average startout Chinese place. Mr. Tong's offers restaurant quality dishes at very reasonable prices. Make yourself a favor and try some of the dishes you would normally not see at a meeting point. Their special cuprols are very good, like some of the chef's specialties. If you ever in the mood for some Beijing Duck, call 30 minutes ago and they prepare some very good quality / authentic Beijing Duck.

I love Mr. Tongs!!!! Best Chines Food in Queens. Best service! The staff is amazing, to earth, friendly. They really seem to care about their customers. You really feel like home. I love to places that have excellent food and excellent service. It's like you get the best from both worlds!

Wonderful food and service. The best hot and sour soup. I never tried a court I don't like. At least twice a week I had my lunch there when I lived in Queens, NY. Every time I get back to NY, I'll make sure I eat there.

Sweet and sour... I have NEVER had a more wonderful sauce than this. The usual 'red ' glop is non-existent here, and a light, slightly sweet/sour 'true ' sauce was a delightful surprise to my first delivery order. We were in the middle of moving in from Brooklyn and looked up the closest Chinese restaurant. Bad rating there, so I texted a friend who said this is the best.
