The highest pub in Britain, it takes a long drive to reach it, but will be worth it. The views go on forever. There are several walking routes nearby , it was very busy with lots of tourists, definitely recommend a visit.

We pre booked Sunday lunch on May bank holiday. I'll be honest, I'm middle aged and struggle to get excited by a Sunday lunch these days. Had so many bland mushy ones served it's put me off them. We arrived bang on time at midday and as expected the place was extremely busy! Car parks and inside full of cyclist's, bikers, hikers and car travellers. We were quickly shown to our table, 4 adults and 2 under 5's. There was no issue in getting our food and drinks ordered and everything arrived in goo
The pub was quaint, obviously very old. Food was excellent and plenty of it. Staff were on the ball and gave good service and very friendly. The drive up to it is not for the faint hearted, personally I found it very daunting but glad I made the trip. Considering where it is, it got very busy.
