It was chewy and cooked ra... read more I ordered the rump steak with chips, salad, and gravy at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the steak was the worst I have had in years. It was chewy and cooked rare instead of medium as I had requested. I struggled to eat half of it. The gravy was also watery and the worst I have ever tasted. When I complained, the waiter apologized and mentioned that no one had ever complained before, attributing it to the chef being new. I did receive a refund, and at least the salad and chips were decent. While the food used to be good, I was shocked at how bad it was this time.

I ate here twice and both times our orders took a considerably long amount of time to churn out our orders. We waited 45mins for the first burger order to arrive. And we were the only ones in the pub at that time. The first time I ate here they got my order wrong, but I assumed it was because it was a busy day then. But food was delivered faster during the first time with a full service versus it only being our group (and we were a smaller group from the first time I ate there). Quality of food is decent. Serving sizes are big. Location is strategic, a few blocks from the train station and along one of the main thoroughfares of the area. Service: 3 Location: 4

They had a good selection of reasonably priced beer... read more I visited this restaurant to watch some Friday night AFL. The viewing environment was great with commentary. They had a good selection of reasonably priced beers, and the schnitzel and beef burger were super tasty. I will definitely be returning!
