Nourishing Quarter - Redfern

Delicious vegan food, loved every bite (we are not vegetarian or vegan). Recommend coming here with a friend or two so you can order a lot and share because all the dishes are worth trying.

Great restaurant. Had the six course meal, was served efficiently, doors opened on time, was a very comfortable restaurant. The staff were very nice, explained ingredients for some of the meals in vivid detail, was very cool :).

Was a bit of a skeptic at first as I don't eat vegetarian out but the food was amazing. I've never had such tasty and well cooked tofu. Meals were very fragrant and light but filling. Atmosphere was cute and cosy and the service was great. Owner took time to explain menu items and specific ingredients.

This place is highly rated, but I thought the pho was pretty average, the rice paper rolls and the dumplings. The pho was pretty sweet, had no chilli and lacked lime or lemon - maybe they were too busy and forgot to put some in. Dumplings were okay, not sure about the quinoa and were pretty small - also stingy on the sauce. Rice paper rolls had a unique flavour. The wait time was also long, approximately 45 minutes for the entrees. The place is cosy and the owner seems nice but had way better Vietnamese in other places in Surry Hills.

Amazing food!  Amazing taste!  Beautiful presentation.  We shared two entries (Dumplings & Sacred Knot) and one main (Amaranth & Quimoa Noodles Salad).  The flavours were light, delicate and refreshing.   The team were very friendly and helpful.  The decor somewhat unusual with an old-world, casual vintage Royal Britannia theme.  I highly recommend this place.  Nourishing Quarter proved to me that eating a vegetarian meal can be very enjoyable for a guy who also  appreciates a good burger.
