The restaurant has received mixed feedback, with some diners expressing disappointment in the taste and size of the pizzas, as well as service issues like additional charges and rudeness from staff. However, many customers have praised the quality of the food, the friendly staff, and the overall dining experience. Was gem a at La Coppola a mag?
Nice pizza, ordered one with the intention of eating half the next day for lunch...but I ate the whole thing in one sitting. Whoops! Pretty tasty, a bit on the pricey side. View all feedback.

What AnnjillianT dislikes about La Coppola:
Would not recommend this place unless you want to pay a premium for average tasting and small pizzas. They charge average $25 per pizza and they come out tiny! We ordered 2 pizzas thinking this would be enough for 4 girls but boy were we wrong! The prawn pizza tasted ok but I wouldn't go back as I don't think it's very good value for money. We came on a Monday night to this great little restaurant which makes amazing wood fired pizza. The range of pizza offered are seriously good and the three we tried had deliciously crispy bases with mouth wateringly tasty toppings. We took our 6 year old son and asked for a smaller pizza for him and the chef obliged by making a small pizza for him which he devoured and said "this is the best pizza with the best service - we will come back won't we?"Our son said it all - we will be back!Just don't tell too many people how good this tiny restaurant is or we won't all fit in!

When you meet Italian expats at an Italian restaurant you know you've found a real gem. Tonight I had the pizza with prawns and tomatoes, was truly excellent.

Best staff in Sydney. Best food ever tried in Sydney. They have special of the day so highly recommend it. Will definitely visit again. Amazing pizza. Great salad. Allow you to BYO. What more could one ask.

I emailed to inquire if the kitchen is friendly to those with celiac disease, and they responded that it is not.

I really enjoy this restaurant, especially their delicious gluten free pizza bases. They also have gluten free hot cross buns available for purchase. If you inform the staff about your coeliac disease, they can take precautions to minimize cross contamination by using a special tray for your pizza. However, there is still a slight risk, as is common in all establishments that serve both gluten free and non-gluten free dishes.
