Description

Mai Viet is a popular Vietnamese restaurant with a diverse range of reviews. While some customers rave about the delicious vegan pho and fresh, authentic Vietnamese dishes, others find the prices to be a bit steep compared to other options in the area. The atmosphere is described as relaxed and welcoming, with friendly staff and efficient service. Overall, Mai Viet seems to be a hit with those looking for a tasty Vietnamese meal, but some may be put off by the pricing and lack of complimentary tea.

I have tried the vegan pho at this restaurant three times and it has been delicious and flavorful each time. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for some Vietnamese food. If their vegan pho is this good, I'm sure everything else on the menu is fantastic too! I can't get enough of their delicious pho!

The food at this restaurant is exceptional, made with fresh ingredients and served by a fantastic staff. I bring all my friends here regularly, as the pho has successfully cured almost every cold I've had. My personal favorite is the spring rolls.

I decided to try the vermicelli with roast pork and spring rolls, and I was pleasantly surprised by the fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. The addition of garlic to the fish sauce was a nice touch, and the homemade spring rolls had a unique and tasty flavor that I hadn't encountered before. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal at Mai Viet. However, I couldn't give the restaurant a higher score due to the high prices. Compared to eating at places like Bankstown or Cabramatta where you receive free tea, the prices at Mai Viet felt like a psychological barrier for me. While I'm not sure if they offer free tea at Mai Viet, it wasn't presented to us during our meal. This lack of complimentary tea is a major drawback for me and prevents me from considering a return visit.
