I ordered 6 wings and they looked nothing like the picture. There was no breading or crumbing, and the largest wing was only 2.5cm in size. You could get better wings at the supermarket, which is why I found this disappointing. It felt like false advertising and a disappointment that they were selling wings that looked nothing like what was advertised. The service was for take out and the atmosphere was a 3. The price per person was A$1-20. Overall, I rated the food a 1, service a 4, and atmosphere a 3.
We ordered food tonight and were disappointed to find both dishes arrived cold. The chicken inside the burgers was lacking in quantity. We used to enjoy this place, but we will not be ordering from here again. Rating: Food 1, Service 1, Atmosphere 1.
This restaurant is too expensive! The meat in the burger was average, but the sauce was pretty good. However, the portions of the burger and wings were very small. It's not worth the price. I can find a much better burger for the same cost. The service was rated a 4 out of 5.
Huxtaburger recently marked their first anniversary and introduced a new menu. They offer an assortment of beef burgers, chicken burgers, and five vegetarian plant-based burgers. We particularly liked their tasty sides, such as the crispy onion rings and unique gravy chips. The gravy had a thinner consistency than expected, and we discovered that it was actually vegetarian gravy.
3.5/5 Huxtaburger recently celebrated it's first birthday. I head there for some burgs with Mr Weekend Food Escapes and some of my foodie friends. The staff tell me that they have revamped their menu and made alternations following feedback from their customers. Huxtaburger is a slender venue however there's also seating at the back. I notice there are a number of plant based burger options so that's good if you do not eat meat. But first, I enjoy a glass of pinot grio wine $11) while Mr Weekend Food Escapes goes for a summer ale $9)
