Tonight, I tried the mixed kebab and chips, which I haven't had in a while, and it was better than ever. The shop was bustling with customers and numerous Deliveroo and Just Eat orders being prepared for takeout, highlighting its popularity among locals. We have also ordered directly from them for home delivery in the past, and found it to be both cheaper and quicker. I highly recommend this place.

The owner even asked us to return the food, despite us paying for delivery... read more Terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was burnt, cold, and delivered late. The owner even asked us to return the food, despite us paying for delivery and living only 4 minutes away. Unfortunately, we couldn't drive due to illnesses. There was hardly any meat in the large portion we ordered. The owner was rude and in denial, while the staff seemed scared of him. One staff member even confided in us that the owner pressured them to half the portions. Treat your customers and staff with respect and your business will prosper. We will never return to this place and urge others to avoid it as well. Good luck to the owner in realizing that customers can sometimes be right and it's important to acknowledge mistakes rather than attack them.

We've tried 3 or 4 other chippies in Redditch, including one very well publicised one across town, and these were the best by a country mile. Well cooked chips no soggy ones, no tiny crispy bits to break my old teeth, and a huge piece of fish. I think we will look no further.

Have supported this fish bar for many years, only to have the last three orders delivered with poor food, paying for fish that doesn't even look like cod, you c... read more Have supported this fish bar for many years, only to have the last three orders delivered with poor food, paying for fish that doesn't even look like cod, you can tell by the flakes. Ordered a mixed meat, hardly any meat in the box, to be honest, i'm sick and tired of poor quality from this takeaway. Such a shame, I hate writing comments like this, but don't want people who work hard all week to then have a poor take away, just like we did tonight. Put the lot in the bin and made some sandwiches, home made food. I hope they read their trip advisors as something has to change for them.
