Highlights include steak breakfast tacos, chicken fried steak, and the locomotive omelet. Pancakes were excellently fluffy and delicious. The only low point was the biscuit (overworked and dense) and jam (like very stiff gelatin). Skip those, and you'll have no issues at all. What Abbie Vital doesn't like about Trendy's:
Was really disappointed by this place. The food was not good quality for the price point, and the atmosphere was giving old diner vibes. Really bummed because the reviews were deceiving and the staff were friendly. Also, Everything is cooked in canola oil, which is a bummer too. View all feedback.
Poor service. Overcharged for included food. Would not recommend. Two stars because my son loved his pancakes

Parking: Plenty of parking, both in the lot and on the street.
OMG the French Toast meal special was incredible! I would definately order it with the sausage again. This restaurant must be a hidden gem because we did not have a wait and the food was great.
Driving down to California from Oregon I Yelped this restaurant which turned out to be very close to Costco, which was convenient for me. I was not expecting anything but a cheap greasy spoon. I was delighted when served the most amazing omelette. Every bite had excellent bacon, perfectly cooked mushrooms and cheese in it. The hashbrowns were cooked to perfection. On the way back from California I stopped again and hoped I didn’t get a different chef or that they had a very standard way of making this omelette. Again, it was perfect, and I will be back.
Only real “complaint” if you even call this one is it’s decently small but they actually do a SOLID job at maximizing space mainly just call before bringing an army at peak hours. Aside from that top tier diner in Redding. Never had a bad time here.
