I always make it a point to stop by this restaurant for a meal. After visiting my dad at the cemetery, I head over to enjoy their food. The prices for their burgers are fantastic, and their Irish Nachos are even more impressive. Who doesn’t love potatoes? I really hope this place continues to thrive because I can't find Irish Nachos anywhere else!

I visited on a Sunday afternoon during the MLB season (not NFL!). We had the back room to ourselves for several hours, which was fantastic! Our bartender and server, Jessica, was friendly and attentive; she quickly changed the TV to the A's game (there were five TVs in the room, so we were in sports heaven!) and checked on us frequently. There was plenty of easy, free street parking available that day, and the location was easy to find—an inviting space that felt intimate, even though it wasn’t a small hole-in-the-wall place. The restroom was really cool and clean, featuring green lights in the walls and sink! The food was just okay; I ordered a classic burger. I wasn’t expecting fine dining, but it was decent bar food. (Let’s be honest, we Irish aren’t exactly famous for our cuisine, right? Haha!) Overall, it’s a fun bar for both tourists and locals—a great spot for everyone!

I've had some fantastic meals at this restaurant, and the service is always top-notch. However, I'm giving it 3 stars because during my last two visits, I found it closed for no apparent reason. Since I live out of town, I've learned that I need to call ahead if I want to eat here. Both times, I ended up going to The Post Office instead, and I was very satisfied with my experience there.

Unfortunately, under the new ownership, all the Irish specialties have been removed. There isn’t a single traditional Irish dish left—favorites like champs, corned beef and cabbage, shepherd’s stew, and bangers and mash have all disappeared! We visited on a Friday night at 6:30, and nearly every table was empty, which was surprising because it used to be packed. Now we understand why. The new menu feels like a slight upgrade from McDonald’s fast food, with mostly deep-fried items offered. If you haven’t been to Shameless O’Leery’s recently, I recommend calling ahead to see what the menu now includes. The on-tap beer selection was also very limited. Don’t be misled by the photos on Google—they are outdated and only show what used to be. It’s disappointing because Shameless was once our favorite spot, loved by all our out-of-town guests too. Sadly, that’s no longer the case. Hopefully, the new owners will recognize what they’ve lost and return to the original offerings. There’s no need to reinvent the wheel.

The restaurant provides a good selection of choices and has plenty of seating at the bar, complemented by a welcoming bartender who enhances the overall atmosphere. It’s an excellent place to meet up with friends. However, the food was rather disappointing, even for a pub.
