Fast and friendly service! For vegetarians they had the opportunity to garden burgers, black bean burgers or impossible burgers. I have the garden castle with fry sauce and it was hot and delicious! Love a burger spot that has not one, but 3 Veggie options! View all feedback.
What Lucas Georges dislikes about Damburger:
We visited Redding for a Jr. Football game and had some time beforehand, so we decided to try a burger. While the price was reasonable, the burger itself was a bit odd. It tasted alright, but the patty was pressed so thin that it was hard to even notice the meat on the sandwich. Maybe this is what makes the place unique, but as a first-timer, it wasn’t the best experience. View all feedback.

I come here now and then. And still the same thing. They have great food. They're fairly fast service and friendly staff. And if you're in the area, you need to stop by. I tried their online ordering for the first time. It worked great except for 1 tiny issue. I wasn't able to use my stamp card for a free burger it's no problem cause I still have my free burger stamp card along with a new card I received for the Purchase I just made including 2 more stamps for the purchase I just made. I'll just use my free burger stamp card on another day. The app Didn't accept that card, but the app was absolutely very easy to order my food Thanks -Mitch
Tbh people say the burger is good but it is not. It’s like I would have gotten something from a freezer burger. I came in and was not attended right away which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. They pretty much leave you alone no customer service at all. Idk why they gaslight this burger so much. Gross

We visited Redding for a junior football game and decided to stop for a burger beforehand. Although the price was reasonable, the burger itself was disappointing. The patty was so thin that it was hard to taste any meat at all. It seemed like this was a deliberate choice by the restaurant, but for a first-time visitor, it was not a pleasant experience.
I returned to this restaurant from my childhood with great excitement. I ordered the spicy "Dam" burger, but instead received a hot dog that I couldn't eat. Even my husband, who is usually not picky, found it unappetizing, so we ended up sharing his burger instead. Fortunately, his burger and fries were delicious!

One of the last and certainly one of the best of the true hamburger joints! Great food and great service!
I have lived in Redding 63yrs and never eaten at Damburger. I like my burgers well done and because they are thin. It was cooked just like I Love it. I will go back again. The SERVICE was EXCELLENT TOO!
Delicious food and a charming, old-school vibe. I really enjoy the variety of seating options: you can sit at the counter, indoors, or outside (just as long as it’s under 100 degrees) from September to April. Haha!

This place is coming up on 100 years old! Unique delicious burgers with a great historical story. Small outdoor patio with water misters, also a small indoor area for those that prefer the A/C. Don’t forget to get a big basket of delicious fries and a few cups of fry sauce. A go to and one of our favorite burgers in town. Must try.
The hole in the wall burger spot. The locals burger joint. The mom and pop corner shake shop. All the stuff of legend. If you don 't have one, your looking for it. That spot where the burgers are juicy, they ask you how you want them cooked, they have a fry sauce for dipping and they have malts. Malts!!! It 's on Placer, but it 's wedged in between a giant, faceless concrete bunker-like building with no windows, and a bank across the street. It is the life and color of the end of the block. The patio is a canopy over some tables on the sidewalk, a few Christmas lights, a fence, and tons of charm. It 's fresh, made with soul and love, and they care. It 's an independent burger shop with crispy fries and great burgers. If you haven 't been there, your denying yourself a piece of the past, when you could hang a sign saying open and feed hungry workers who are building a dam. Yes. That 's real, from when Shasta Dam was being constructed. Hence the name. There 's no drive thru. It doesn 't run on door dash or an internet ap. It 's an actual burger joint, built by locals, for locals, and it 's delicious. It 's not fancy. It 's real. Check it out.
Delicious, thin pressed burgers. Classic old school burger joint feel. Crispy Pommes. Many Shake Malz options at good prices.
Great burger! They are tortilla thin so you need to order at least the double. But they are crispy on the edges and juicy in the middle. Skip the fries and just save room for the soft serve ice cream. So good, this was our first time here but we will be back. I'll get photos next time, I was just too hungry this visit.

Joy Allen MCFate spent her 96th birthday at Damburgers today with family and friends. She remembers stopping by Damburgers on her way home from Shasta High in the mid-1949 's and getting a hamburger for 10 cents. Her father and brothers worked on the dam from start to finish.
Good food for a good price! We will definitely be back! The burgers, dogs and fries were yummy. Served hot and fresh. I was also pleased to find a customer restroom!
The best burger spot in town! They serve smash-style burgers with generous portions of fries. The fry sauce is delicious, and now they have beer too! Don’t miss the butterscotch milkshake – it’s amazing!
