We've been to a... read more My wife and I visited the restaurant for our anniversary on a friend's recommendation and were really delighted with both the service and food. We've been to a few restaurants in the area but Mohabir was outstanding our tandoor chicken and prawn pathia were amazing and both had a lovely balance of spices. They were the best version of those dishes we've ever eaten. From the moment we opened the door to the restaurant we were made to feel very welcome really attentive and friendly service without being overbearing. We picked up a takeaway menu and will definitely return. A perfect evening and lovely memory thank you Mohabir!

We felt rushed and this made what should have been a nice meal out a stressful one. For me customer service is everything hence the two stars.

However, we were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be returning soon! The food was fresh and delicious, probably the best Indian food I have ever tasted. This is a bold statement, but it is true. The service was attentive and extremely friendly, and the prices were reasonable. They do not have a alcohol license, so you will need to bring your own. This wasn't an issue for me, but my husband had to go to Tesco across the road to buy some. This is now our new favorite local spot for Indian food, whether dining in or getting takeout.

We went for Sunday lunch on Father's Day and it was just as good. You can bring your own alcohol and the staff are all very friendly. There is another restaurant across the road that caters more to a TOWIE crowd, but if you want fantastic Indian food and excellent service, dine here.
