What User doesn't like about Red River Ski Summer Area:
We had a good time with the snow tubing but it is definitely overpriced for the “hill” that it’s on. However, I was more upset to see they were extremely slow, not busy at all. But said me and my kiddos couldn’t ride the lift to the top of the mountain because it was “busy weekend”. It wasn’t busy, and we would have gladly paid for it. Just seemed like the workers didn’t want to deal with it. View all feedback.

The beginner slopes are wonderfully long and green, perfect for those starting out in skiing. However, it is worth noting that there is a separate lift ticket required for children who only use these slopes. I didn't personally experience the lifts when teaching my son, but I have heard that they are slow. Despite this, the trails themselves are decent.
I enrolled my 5-year-old child in a group ski lesson on Saturday, 1/8/22, and she experienced a headache due to the high altitude and lack of oxygen. She was unable to return for the afternoon portion of the lesson. The ski school suggested I speak to management about a possible partial refund since my child did not attend the full day or move to a later afternoon class. After speaking with management, they said they would call me on Sunday, but unfortunately, they lost my contact information. I was then informed on Monday, 1/10, that there was availability for a makeup lesson in the afternoon. I inquired about a refund for the missed portion of the lesson, but was only told that they were sorry for the inconvenience and that they had kept $200 without offering anything in return for the missed lesson.
The ski area is the heart of the red river, people from different places come here to have fun and enjoy their holiday. there are several lifts and stations. I recommend booking online in advance. there is a red bus that can take it in the city for free.
