Capo's Corner - RED RIVER
Capo's Corner
Description
In a mixed bag of experiences, this Italian restaurant reveals itself as a hit-or-miss destination. While some diners rave about generous portions and delicious desserts, others lament poor food quality and lackluster service. Patrons enjoy hearty dishes like the meat lovers pizza and pasta, which provide value despite slightly elevated prices typical of tourist spots. However, multiple complaints highlight undercooked pizzas, watery spaghetti, and unresponsive staff, overshadowing the overall dining experience. Those seeking a casual meal may be satisfied, especially with dessert options, yet others may wish to explore alternatives for authentic Italian fare.

Family-type casual Italian place with the staples, pizza, and some offbeat creations on the menu. Not upscale or fancy. Everything we had was good, and especially the desserts. Service was great. It's a bit pricey, but that's an inevitability ina tourist place.
The positives?. Our waitress was great! The cheesy, green chile garlic bread was really good! My husband liked the pizza. My daughter said it was better than dominoes pizza (which she hates for some reason) but she would have rather had a frozen pizzathat she cooked herself. Waitress made a fresh batch of tea just for my husband as there was only maybe one glass of tea leftwhen we ordered drinks. That was nice of her to do. Otherwise, I was going to just order water for my husband. My youngestsaid the chicken fettuccine was good. My oldest said the cheese ravioli was ok. The negatives? We were told it was a 20-25minute wait but we waited over an hour. No apologies for the long wait. In fact when I checked in after 45 minutes I wastreated like I was a bother. I had the spaghetti with meatballs. There was a lot of watery pasta, a little bit of sauce andtwo tiny meatballs. I?ve had better spaghetti and meatballs at Olive Garden for much cheaper, to be honest. Overall, the foodwas just ok. This was not our first time to eat here but over the years it?s consistently just been ok food. I like to supportlocal businesses and don?t like to give negative reviews but this place is just not for us.
Completely amazing! I thoroughly went over my meal which was a rolled beef baked meat sauce contraption. And got hollow pasts and chicken. Its the 3rd down on the menu.......worst of all I ordered a St Francis old zin and it was so good I orderedanother. Only this time u got the house...........thats really bad! BTW I'm from Napa country so I kinda know when I'm gettingsmoke and mirrors. 2 stars because I know they can do better and since I'm local I will try again. For sure, I'll be so muchmore clear next time and taking notes then someone can answer for this. Anyways. Another restaurant banking on Texas money andpoor product!
Probably the worst pizza we have ever had. It looked good, however after calling in, still showing up early, it was sitting on a table by the counter. The crust was significantly undercooked, just above raw dough....very dissapointed for our firstexperience. $28 a $10 tip in the dumpster
This is likely the worst pizza we have ever eaten. Although it appeared appetizing, we called ahead and arrived early, only to find it sitting on a table near the counter. The crust was severely undercooked, almost like raw dough. We were very disappointed with our first visit. Spending $28 plus a $10 tip felt like throwing it in the dumpster.
