Old Tymers Cafe - RED RIVER

Food was very good!! Cute little place. Staff was nice. My only complaint (silly as it might be) the windows were open, the place is small and it was early. My food went cold really fast. I know it gets hot for the staff but I need hot food! I'd stillgo back!!!

I never had breakfast enchiladas until I tried them here....the wait was a little long but the food was good. The service seemed to be a Lil slow. But I would go back to try something else.

I was very disappointed in the food. I ordered the New Mexican Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was broken. It was not creamy. It was chunky and they don't poach eggs. They over cooked the egg. The hash brown were mushy versus crunchy and it was avery small seving.my daughters had omelets and they were hard and overcooked. Something is wrong with the gravy on the chickenfried steak. The only decent thing any of us had was the chocolate chip pancake and the tomatoe juice. Really none of therestaurants we ate at were very good. You would think the competition for customers would make them want to serve good food. Irecommend you get a condo where you can make your own food in Red River!

Had breakfast here on our first day with the intention of trying another place on the next day. We came back for more, why mess with a good thing? The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious!!! Will definitely be back should we visit red riveragain!!

We had a mixed experience here. All the staff are super friendly and we heard one of the waitstaff offer an older gentleman a free meal because he was a Veteran. The food was just OK. His burger was overcooked and my fish were dried out. We had lunch asit was too late for breakfast service which they do til noon. Maybe breakfast is better. Expect a wait for a table. The indoordining space is cozy.
