We were looking forward to trying the sizzling skillets, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We were served a cold steak and warm sides. My wife had warm food, and our child received a lukewarm burger. To make matters worse, there were only two staff members working on the floor, and they seemed overwhelmed and too busy to provide proper service. Overall, it was not a great experience. I visited this pub for a meal, and although it doesn't offer modern or trendy cuisine, the food is quite decent. It’s well-prepared, delicious, and very affordable. The interior is clean, tidy, and spacious, and there's also a garden outside. It's conveniently located at the end of the number 17 bus route, which even features a topless bus that advertises events.
Had entered a 40 % discount on main meal voucher by e-mail, so with a friend for lunch. not very busy. the personal was nice that my friend offered to take over a chap. the food was very good. great value for money, especially with the money-off voucher. I had the mixed grill £10.99 40%. my friend discovered the senior menu, again very good value for money.
Been many times as local pub had great food many times but couple times food been bad and had wait over a hour becor needs re doing as looks worn out
