Whittington's Tea Barge - Reading

Good tea, friendly staff and nice atmosphere As a group of nine, we made a reservation, which is highly recommended. We went in the afternoon to have tea and scones. The tea was served in beautiful pots and was at the right temperature. The scones with clotted cream and jam were very delicious.

What a wonderful experience. I booked the cash for my daughter hen party and I couldn't have been happier. from beginning to end we felt welcome and that nothing was too much annoyed. we had the afternoon and it was lovely! the owners had only the barge before the week, nor were they well organized. thanks to many for holly’s day to make wonderful.

Enjoyed to have England afternoon tea on the barge with the River Thames cruise. Reasonable price. Its self-made scone and dark chocolate with walnut was delicious

We hired the whole boat for a couple of hours and did a trip down the river to Mapledurham lock. It was to celebrate a big birthday and it was a lovely experience, even in a bit of rain! They laid on afternoon tea, with sandwiches, scones and even a few cakes with candles for the celebrations. It was a magnificent/unique experience, and the kids loved it too. Highly recommended
