Description

Burghfield Spices is a unique combination of a country pub and an Indian restaurant, offering a cozy atmosphere for a delicious curry experience. While some reviewers found the decor tired and the lack of ambiance concerning, others praised the food quality and attentive service. The menu offers a variety of traditional and lesser-known Indian dishes, catering to both adventurous eaters and those looking for familiar favorites. Prices are reasonable, especially for the buffet option, making it a great choice for couples and families alike. Despite a few hiccups with takeout orders and long wait times, many diners express their loyalty to Burghfield Spices, emphasizing the superb food and friendly service that keep them coming back for more. Overall, this restaurant seems to offer an authentic and satisfying Indian dining experience worth checking out.

This restaurant was extremely disappointing. We decided to try it based on the reviews, but were disappointed to find bits of chicken in the chana masala and received passanda instead of butter chicken. We definitely won't be going back. This was probably one of the worst Indian takeaways I have ever had.

One of the best Indian takeaways I have had. Will definitely be trying eating in here as well soon.

I was not impressed with my experience at this restaurant. I booked a large party in advance online but upon arrival, they had to set up the tables for us and then moved us due to blocking another area. The food available in the buffet was limited and I had to wait 10 minutes for two of the curries. The staff was slow and the manager was very rude when it came time to pay, complaining about his electric bill. Overall, my group of 12 people will not be returning to this restaurant.
