Our soup starter c... read more I went to the Jazz Club in January for a special night out. We arrived early and had to wait at the bar, even though there were empty tables. Our soup starter came out quickly and was decent, but not outstanding. The main course arrived soon after, but it was clear that the chef wasn't at their best that night. The food was okay, but not up to our expectations. We waited a long time for the entertainment to start and the club became too crowded and noisy. We left early for the Hotel bar, which looked promising. I may give the Jazz Club another chance in the future, but I will book a later table to have a more enjoyable dining experience.

On our way in... read more Couple of weeks ago, five of my friends and I went out for a meal at The Jazz Cafe in Reading. This was one of the best nights out we've ever had! On our way in we were welcomed by a very friendly man and escorted to the bar area where we were served immediately by a professional barman. A few minutes later a lady from the staff came and introduced herself and explained that we will be seated shortly! In less than minutes a waitress came and showed us our table, which we found out we could use for the whole night! The food was lovely! We all had starters which were tasteful and well presented, the main meals were even better we had chicken dish, steak and vegetarian dish and all of them were well cooked, well presented with plenty of vegetables. One of us had a portion of cheese and biscuits which was enough to share between two of us! We also had couple of bottles of a very good wine and a few after dinner drinks! The waitress was friendly and helpfull!The music was great the band was good fun so was the DJ. We had fantastic time, one of the best nights out!We highly recommend The Jazz Cafe!

I must mention ‘Vani’ the manager is the most humble person I’ve met.... read more It’s one of my second Homes these days, I’ve been working with this venue since last year. I must mention ‘Vani’ the manager is the most humble person I’ve met. She comes at odd times for me to open gates so I can do my decorations. Venue is lovely, it’s upstairs so lifts are available. It can accommodate up to 100 people easily. They have a small stage and also dance floor and bar available to hire. Ideal for Parties. Instagram Page: @decorationandballoonhire
