The food menu doesn't have a lot of coice, but what is on there is LOVELY. The meal started with three different choices of home made bread... all of which I'd never tried before they were all lush. I then went for a very healthy goats cheese salad well apart from the cheese!. It was a nice, relaxed dinner and the hotel looked great from first impressions too

The room was spacious, clean, and l... read more A cozy hotel with a warm ambiance located conveniently near Reading city center (shops, high street, bars, and restaurants). The room was spacious, clean, and lovely. The bathroom was nice, with a powerful shower. The room had excellent and free WiFi. The hotel had good accessibility with ramps and lifts available. Parking on site was limited, but there is a Q car park on Chatham Road just a few minutes' walk away, where the hotel can validate a 40% discount. The breakfast was fantastic, with a variety of options including continental, full English, hams and cheese, cakes, juices, herbal teas, and coffee. Overall, I had a great night's sleep.

The service was sl... read more After having a wonderful time during our previous stay, we decided to visit this restaurant again. Unfortunately, this time was not as great. The service was slow and the staff was unhelpful, which was disappointing. We weren't the only ones who had issues with payment, and when we tried to order room service, we were directed to use Uber Eats instead.
