I tend to go for the masala fish meal, huh dinner, chicken burger meal or the 2 mini chicken burger meal. in the past, the takeaway salat would deliver with the meal, but that remained. also the free drink etc. especially after 60 issues and regular. the former owner would do that. I would give me 3 stars, but as his local take and I know that eating is good, sharing and miss, depending on who serves, but others than eating is great!

Not that it matters to me - all I care about is satisfying my craving... read more In Reading, it seems like there's a Mr Cod on every corner, but who knows if that's true? Not that it matters to me - all I care about is satisfying my craving for chicken, and Mr Cod always delivers. They serve up delicious fried chicken, crispy chips, and refreshing fizzy drinks with the efficiency you'd expect. Despite the limited communication behind masks and Perspex, the staff handle it all with grace. It's hard to strike up a conversation with other customers, who are too absorbed in their phones, but that's just the way things are these days. As I wait for my order, my mind drifts back to simpler times, but I'm brought back to the present when my food is handed to me. I weave through the crowd of delivery drivers and head out into the night, knowing I'll be back at Mr Cod before long. But for now, I am happy and content with a box of fried chicken in hand - nothing can bring me down!
