The food was exceptional and certainly deserves more than a 4-star rating, even though it took 45 minutes to arrive. We ordered a family meal that included a variety of grilled meats, and the chicken kebab kufta was perfectly seasoned—not too spicy but full of authentic Afghan flavor. The restaurant is spacious and welcoming for families with children, and the staff is wonderful. We ended our meal with a refreshing green tea infused with mint, accompanied by sweet sugar mandules. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re willing to wait a little!

The restaurant has a very clean and organized atmosphere. The food, especially the lamb dish, is expertly prepared and delicious. The staff is warm and welcoming. I was very pleased with my dining experience.

The rice was very aromatic, light and fluffy. we tried a lot of koftas that were all delicious on their own wise. friendly and accommodating staff.

Fantastic Afghani cuisine! We had an exceptional dining experience here and, if we lived local, we wouldn 't hesitate to return. Everything we ordered; the mixed grill chicken, the Namak Chicken, the Nan and Rice were all beautifully flavoured and cooked to perfection. It 's unusual to order a curry by 'weight '; the half-kilo Namak Chicken arrived in a huge Karai skillet. A quarter-kilo would be sufficient for two if, like us, you couldn 't resist ordering the grilled options too! The staff are super friendly and made our visit very enjoyable. There 's a great atmosphere created by the owners, a husband (chef) and wife (front of house) team. If they ever open a branch in East Yorkshire then they 've a guaranteed customer! If you love freshly grilled chicken/lamb and authentic curries you 'll love Da Village!
