What August Jordan doesn't like about Cafe Rouge Henley:
The food was well flavoured and served but all the three dishes we chose were luke warm, which was rather disappointing. They were not salads so We would have liked them to be hot. View all feedback.
Scallops were excellent .must have a generous part, but not terrible delicious! a pleasant interval, always a safe choice. the set food was also worth a good one for others in the party.
Unfortunately I interpreted 17.30 as a 7.30 clock, when we actually arrived fortunately they could give us a very pleasant table and we had a pleasant evening with good eating and excellent service.
My sohn book a table for all of us to lunch, but not recommend, staff not welcome us at all, eating was not great, service bad, will not go back.
We had a nice reception at the waitress. it was my birthday, so the afternoon was a tasty bite. the afternoon was beautiful and filled. we would definitely go back and recommend friends.
Despite reduced guest numbers due to Covid we had a very good meal and the staff provided a friendly and efficient service. Cafe Rouge has always had a great menu and we especially enjoyed the mussels and beouf bourginon
