I opted for the chicken pot pie, while my husband went for the fish and chips. Both dishes were outstanding. We decided to take our coconut cake and peanut butter dessert home, and they were delightful! Our server, Ryan, was exceptional. Thank you! We’re looking forward to coming back with friends!

The wedge salad w... read more A gem of a cottage in downtown Reading. Dim lighting and a fire burning make me feel like i am in the Scottish Countryside. The food was nice. The wedge salad was fantastic. The Scotch egg makes a nice salad protein. Fantastic service and live music.Garlic fries... way too much of what I assume was garlic oil.

The food was okay but nothing to write home about. I decided to go with the seafood mac and cheese. I had noticed that four otherguests had ordered it and guessed that it was that good. I was extremely disappointed. There was no flavor to the dish and itappeared that some of the seafood was undercooked. We did enjoy the evening but it wasn't because of the food.
