Was Mae Be at Kelsey's a mag?
Kelsey's is the best local bar in Rathdrum. The patrons are local people that except for a few too over the conservatives types are friendly and choose to interact rather than stare at their phone. Prices are very reasonable and drinks are good. Highly recommended View all feedback.

What Karen G dislikes about Kelsey's:
The recent changes to the menu and prices are quite disappointing. The selection now includes unusual meats that most people are unlikely to enjoy. They've removed popular items like chicken sandwiches, taco salad, and other favorites. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money here. The only positive aspect is the wait staff, who were exceptional. View all feedback.

The bartender often drinks alongside patrons, sometimes over-serving them to the point of passing out. The atmosphere is loud, with drunk customers sharing way too many personal stories, making it feel more like a gathering spot for friends than a proper establishment. I gave this place two stars for its cleanliness and friendly staff, but I wouldn’t recommend it. If you find yourself driving through Rathdrum, Idaho, and spot a strip mall with a Kelsey’s sign, my advice is to keep going. I can’t help but wonder how many DUIs this bar generates on weekends — my guess is far too many. If you’re looking for a quality experience with friendly staff, good food, and great beer, I recommend checking out the brewpub in Old Town Rathdrum instead; it’s fantastic.

The menu had changed dramatically, moving away from the classic pub food to exotic dishes like kangaroo and alligator, which were also quite overpriced. We ordered the fish and chips, but they were quite dry. To top it all off, we didn’t receive a knife with our cutlery, and even after requesting one, it never arrived. Overall, the service was poor, the food was disappointing, and the prices were steep. I later found out that O'Malley's had been sold to new owners and had only been open for 5 days. I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t last more than a couple of months. I won’t be returning; it was the worst experience I’ve ever had.

We stopped in about 2:30 on Tuesday for a late lunch on our way to Post Falls for a little shopping. 1 waitress, 1 bat tender working, not super busy, 8 tables, mostly Couples. Waitress Jazzy was SLOW INATTENTIVE. We were contemplating leaving 10 minutes after walking in and seating ourselves, when she finally grabbed menus to head our way. Philly steak sandwich had no flavor except the peppers and Club Sandwich was the worst I have ever had! Had to go to the bar to get my Ranch for tater tots after telling Jazzy 2 times that I wanted some. O'Malley is the last restaurant on our list.
