Firehouse Wine Cellars - Rapid City

I have no idea what the wines are like because I never received my tasters when we visited. It was a very disappointing visit. We arrived and we given papers (him: beer Me: wine plus menu we asked for). He received his beer samples. I never received mywine, no one took a food order. He asked for water and received empty glass!! The only reason there are 3 stars instead of 1is due to manager tried to make it right (though entirely too late). When we go back to area will not be returning before weleave state! It wasn?t like we were there for just samples (you pay for them). We wanted food. Also the other two wineriesnearby we left with over $100 at each place. Firehouse lost and we lost due to awful experience.

Our hostess was amazing! She made us comfortable right off the bat and was very knowledgeable as we participated in wine tasting. When we come back for vacation we will definitely check out your newest wines.

The staff was excellent, but we had to sit at the bar, which made us feel uncomfortable compared to being at a table. The cheese and meat board (charcuterie board) was fantastic. The wines were just okay, but overall, we had a nice time there.

What a fantastic spot for wine and gifts! If you're in the mood for food, you'll have to head next door. Willam was an exceptional bartender! He was attentive and warm, not just to us, but to everyone who came through the door. The tasting is just $1 per sample, or you can get 6 for $5. William provided excellent descriptions of the wines and shared interesting stories about the company, including details about the origin of the grapes. There were so many options to choose from! Overall, a wonderful experience!

We took a seat at the counter for our wine tastings, but our server repeatedly prioritized other customers over us. She informed us that we needed to wait because she had to assist those who were paying, even though we were returning paying customers with every intention of purchasing multiple bottles. After being neglected for a while, we finally got served and only bought one bottle before leaving. We won’t be returning, nor will we recommend the place to anyone. What a letdown!
