What Francis Washington doesn't like about A&d Jamaican:
Ordered a grub hub. They plate it when you arrive, so I'm not sure why it took 45 minutes for them to ready the order on the app. The curry goat is not spicy at all. The rice and beans, as well as the cabbage was ok but bland. Worst of all you get very little meat. Basically, I paid $16 for rice, cabbage, potatoes, and a few small pieces of goat. Its good. Its 2 days in a row good. The Oxtail is delicious. The goat curry is delicious. The chicken curry is delicious. The dumplings are delicious. The jerk chicken is delicious. This place is a new favorite. The kind of food that makes you keep eating after you are full and cannot fit another bite.
This place is not only one of the best restaurants in rapid city it’s also some of the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had. Please support this place. It’s a gem in city with not a lot of good food.
We had an awesome dinner here this evening. I really enjoyed my curry shrimp. The chef specially made me a less spicy version. But I had order envy of my son’s beef stew goat. It melted in your mouth and the flavor was phenomenal!
It makes me so happy to see an establishment like this in Rapid. Excellent food, service, portion sizes, and price! I have DEFINITELY found a new go-to spot in town!
The curry goat, red beans/rice, cabbage brought me back to my childhood. This was somebodies Mommas recipe with a pressure cooker carrot juice...this was not a recipe found in a book/online somewhere.
