El Pollon - Ranson
El Pollon
Description
This local Hispanic restaurant offers a wide array of dishes that evoke mixed reactions from diners. While some patrons rave about the flavorful and freshly prepared meals, such as tender lomo saltado and addictive baked chicken, others express disappointment over poorly executed family meals and lackluster sides. Service also seems hit or miss, with some guests enjoying warm hospitality, while others encountered language barriers and indifferent staff. The atmosphere is inviting, accented by lively music, but the varied reviews highlight a noticeable inconsistency. Overall, diners may want to approach this eatery with tempered expectations based on individual experiences.

Have only got my order right maybe half the time. Tonight I ordered half a chicken all white meat and got a thigh and a drumstick! Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
I hate having to give mom and pop establishments anything less than 5 stars, but I always give honest reviews. Tried this place for the first time and definitely wasn't pleased with the quality of food and the taste of the food. The dark meat was dry, the chicken within the quesadilla was extremely dry, the black beans had absolutely no flavor. And for love of God, why did they put powered sugar on the beef empanadas, that messed everything up, the sweet and savory combo didn't work at all. For a Peruvian establishment everything definitely could've been prepared better and go up on flavor. I'll try again one to hopefully update my review and rating.
