The staff are... read more I recently went for breakfast as it's open to the public. It has a good variety. They serve lots of food. There is a breakfast buffet on Sundays. The staff are very nice. Edit: I recently went for dinner. The menu seemed limited. My son's chowder wasn't great but the chicken and sides I had were very good. Service was attentive.

Listen to the bullfrogs an... read more Loved our stay here for a business retreat. The adjacent building has wonderfully simple, clean, spacious rooms overlooking the lake. Listen to the bullfrogs and loons at night. The main hotel is gorgeous inside, with luxurious old time decor. The food was outstanding, great bar and superb coffee house next door.

We were not able to stay in the main building because we were bring our two dogs, but the pet friendly room side of the building is also very nice. The room is... read more We were not able to stay in the main building because we were bring our two dogs, but the pet friendly room side of the building is also very nice. The room is spacious and the out door view from the lake is amazing. The restaurant in the main building is also very nice and the price is extremely reasonable for their beer. Staff is also very friendly and allowed me to tour around the main building which was very historical and cozy.
