We only spent 1 night there, it wasn't even a whole night as we attended a concert at a nearby venue, but, in was beautiful. The service was amazing. After the concert we went back to the lodge I was hungry, so I asked themanager(? )If any where close was open she said no, but she could make me a salad, even though their restaurant was also closedI said thanks, but don't go out of your way. 15 minutes later she appeared with a beautiful salad. That was amazing. We willdefinitely go back when we have more time

We went to Pickford Pub in the lodge for dessert. We wound up ordering the Pickford Plate, a charcuterie board. It just have had an entire box worth of crackers, an amazing fig jam and a HUGE plate of olives, cheeses and meats! We expressedinterest in staying here and were told we could get a tour. Fantastic hospitality!
