This is not five star dining which is great because I prefer the basic surrounds and friendly staff t hat this little place offers. Simple food, delivered quickly and tasty. If you are not a big eater do what we did, one starter (steamed dim sims fabulous) and one main to share. Simple food and a good price. View all feedback.
What Guillermo McDermott doesn't like about Dalat Restaurant:
I have been to dalat a few times hoping to be surprised and amazed by the dishes they had to offer. The times I have visited, I had ordered the pho soup and I had also tried their laksa along with a different entrees. The soups tasted alright and the price is average so in short you get what you pay for. The staff are friendly and always eager to assist. View all feedback.
A great local. Good for a quick midweek bite very kid friendly. <br/ <br/ Try the Pho (I don't think it's on the menu just ask).
Love the fresh rolls and traditional Vietnamese sweet and sour soup!! Delicious!
Nice Pho. It was great to finally find a decent Pho restaurant in the Eastern Suburbs. This restaurant, while serving Thai food as well as Vietnamese food, does do an above average Pho. The only challenge is to try and find it on the menu!<br/ <br/ Yes, Pho does exist at this restaurant but for some very odd reason, we couldn 't find it on the dinner menu. Perhaps because it is actually considered a breakfast meal... That didn 't matter as they were still more than happy to serve us Pho for Dinner. <br/ <br/ The Rare Beef Pho $9.90) broth was crisp and flavoursome, with the right amount of herb flavours. Other varieties on offer included the Special Beef Noodle Soup $11.90, which combined steak beef, brisket, meatball, tendon and tripe) and Chicken Noodle Soup $9.80).<br/ <br/ The restaurant certainly had a lot more ambience and better service than we 've experienced in other Pho restaurants. Overall we found the Pho to be above average however lacking a certain 'wow ' factor. Nevertheless, worth a visit if you are looking for Pho in the Eastern Suburbs.
Great place to go for Lunch. The staff is really friendly and the service is quick. If you are around Randwick, I would definitely recommend you to give this place a go. My personal favourites here are the pork chops, the egg noodles, the fried Pork Dumplings and always nice to get a Vietnamese Iced coffee to go along.
This place isn’t too bad to visit. The service is friendly and reliable. The food is quite tasty and filling, not to mention fairly priced, you definitely get what you paid for. I could easily go here again to try something different.
