The cafe had a nice vibe and staff were friendly. I got the classic Kurtosh as this was my first one. br/ br/ Crispy on the outside and soft inside, this is the ultimate snack! It was quite filling to be consumed after lunch definitely keen to try other flavours next time. View all feedback.

Quite average in every respect. Great if you were in a out laying suburb but in a area with such strong Cafe culture it gets out shone in every way. Had the burger which was decent. Staff efficient and helpful. Great deal on Groupon though. View all feedback.

For the past six months, my partner has been trying to persuade me to visit Kurtosh, a bakery known for its slab cakes. I was hesitant at first, having had my fair share of baked goods in the past. However, one day we ended up at Kurtosh after discovering that Albee's Kitchen was closed. At Kurtosh, the slab cakes are sliced and sold by weight, making it easy to sample a variety of flavors. While the cakes were decent, none stood out enough for me to recall their specific flavors. I believe one of them was tiramisu.
The restaurant offers a variety of incredibly unique and delicious desserts. It is conveniently located with both indoor and outdoor seating options, and the staff is friendly.
Tried the lime and ginger meringue cake. It was unique that they priced it by weight, but it actually made sense. It was a bit awkward trying to decide how much to order. The kurtosh was delicious and even better when served fresh! We opted for the pistachio flavor, which provided a nice crunch to complement the soft inside.
Love their tea cakes! The orange blueberry, walnut cinnamon and flourless chocolate cake. Also their brandy balls!! <br/ <br/ The Hungarian chimney cakes are great when eaten fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside.
Cinnamon funnel cake is the bomb! Keep you comming back for more thats for sure! Nice cosy place for those cold winter nights great place for a catch up over coffee. A nice variety of cake and funnel cakes. I will be back!

Disappointed after my visit here. eating was okay, but not writing. I ordered the frit and avocado salsa, which with three frittes and only cubes of avocado with some cherry tomatoes, certainly not an salsa. After a few mouthful I found a 2cm long piece of plastic in my teller. the owner has cleaned it as a piece of the packaging. he arranged for a second plate of fritters to come out, but these serve only 2 frit on the plate. when we went to pay, there was no discount or nothing on the bill. Only had dinner for 2 here with a gifted scoopon would not return and pay for what we received. only positiw was a friendly waitress and eating came to a reasonable time. partner ordered a medium steak and received almost well made, extremely hard and dry as if the meat frozen. he can usually eat everything, but even he couldn't like it! I had the American ripening, came as 3 pieces and 1 was mainly cartilage. tastefully decent, but flesh itself was not fresh again. for dessert, the partner had spent a blueberry muffin on being stale. Had dinner at this Restaurant on Sunday evening. Ordered lasagne, potato wedges, kids ham and cheese sandwich and steak meal. All ordered foods were of poor quality. The potato wedges had black skin on each of them, it's like they used rotten potatoes. The kids sandwich, I.e the bread was stale and no butter on bread, very badly done. The lasagne was presented in plate very badly, they heated it up in a oven proof bowl and served it in same dish with unfresh salad. Steak was not done properly as well. Well below par. Ordered a very basic breakfast (poached eggs on sourdough with bacon) and coffee. And waited ages for it to arrive. Coffee turned up well in advance of the breakfast and was therefore all done and dusted by the time my breakfast arrived. Hate that. When my breakfast arrived the bacon was not only burnt but also cold!!! Precooked much? The toast was also stone cold and on the verge of having an almost stale bread consistency. The butter had been quite clearly recycled from another plate as it had melted and then re-solidified. And to cap it all off, the poached eggs were over-cooked and had gone hard. After being seated I waited 20 minutes and still no service. About 20 members of the wait staff walked past me and despite trying to get their attention I was ignored. I ended up leaving and would not waste my time going back. Very poor service and the menu isn't even that great, many other great places nearby. Don't waste your time.
