To my sur... read more I walk by this restaurant every day and have always been curious about it. After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, I decided to visit just for fun. To my surprise, the food was actually quite good. It may not be gourmet cuisine, but it was definitely enjoyable.

It was also great value for the quality. I will definitely be returning and I wish there was a location closer to us in Folkestone.

We were first in line for an early carvery due to later commitments. We spent around £8 on unlimited soft drink packages, but sadly a number of my usual choices... read more We were first in line for an early carvery due to later commitments. We spent around £8 on unlimited soft drink packages, but sadly a number of my usual choices were not available. We had the first cuts off the meat joints and the beef was a bit tough at the end we got and contained too much grizzle. That said most of it was edible and we did eat the majority. The roast potatoes were hit and miss with some not being so nice, but again we managed to grab extra ones to replace the ones we did not like so in the end no harm was done.

Maybe you should carry out regular temperature checks on the food
