If the waiter looks like he might drop dead of boredom before you get to dessert, it is a bit off putting. Wouldn't rush back despite the good food.

We chose from the set menu; there was plenty of choice and a good balance of meat and fish dishes. Portions were not enormous but as the starters and desserts were delicious this wasn't a problem as it allowed us to sample all three courses. The waiter was charming although he was certainly busy, working alone on a busy Saturday night, and the wine list was extensive, with a selection of reasonably priced items as well as some 'luxury' tipples.
