I recently visited Level7 for the first time and it was a really catastrophic experience. The service was incredibly slow and I had to wait for an hour to get my drinks. To deteriorate things, the manager was rude and belittling, which was added only in the entire unpleasant atmosphere. I was very disappointed at the way I was treated and the lack of attention to customer service. The manager seemed to have a chip on his shoulder and made me feel like I was a burden for him. His behaviour was unprofessional and completely unacceptable. Overall, my visit to Level7 was a complete waste of time and money. I will never return to this institution and advise others to convince themselves.
I absolutely love the view from Level 7. The vibe feels a bit more upscale than a lot of other bars in Raleigh, and the food is absolutely delicious! Where it loses a star is the service. It can be quite slow even when the bar is not busy. If you are in the outside portion of the bar, I would recommend just going to the bar to order your drinks rather than waiting for a server to come to you.
My partner and I tried to visit Level7 twice. The first time, we arrived shortly after they said they opened, but the doors were still closed. The second time, today on my birthday, we came with a group around 12:30 (the website stated they open around 12). The hotel informed us they don’t open until 1, which is fine, but they need to update their online hours. Unfortunately, they missed out on a group of seven customers because we chose not to wait.
I really wanted to love this place. You can say that when it was opened first, it was cool, and many thoughts were put into it. Unfortunately, it was not maintained. My husband and I visited 5ish on Sunday, there were a few employees, but we waited a good time before we could order drinks. The entire bar was dirty, everything was sticky (the chairs that are torn and torn, the floor, the bar above, our card when it was returned to us, and drinks were spilled that were not cleaned. There were girls who stumbled around, the bartenders complained about the customers and had to be at work... The views outside are absolutely stunning when you can come by the spilled drinks, dirty tables and chairs, and vomiting (yes, vomiting! on a couch that was there until we were gone. that was not long. I hope management gets a grip on things here because the $25 we spent for 2 beers was not worth the view alone if there are much better places in Raleigh for views that are not covered by higher buildings.
Our group usually loves the vibe and atmosphere here, but that changed tonight. The staff was unresponsive and insisted that the three dishes we received were just cold, not undercooked, and served at the right temperature, which was clearly not the case. To make matters worse, there were several cockroaches nearby, making for a very unpleasant dining experience—especially when one ended up on our table with our food.
Level7 offers a vibrant atmosphere ideal for after-work drinks and date nights, featuring stunning views and a rooftop setting. While the food and drinks receive praise, service can be inconsistent, with reports of unengaged staff and slow service, especially during busy hours. Although it was once a go-to spot, recent experiences have led some to question the value and quality. The setting is attractive, combining indoor and outdoor options, but limited beer selection and issues with cleanliness detract from the overall experience.

One of my groups favorite vibes and atmospheres until tonight? Completely unengaged staff that thought all three incorrectly delivered dishes were acceptable being served cold, not fully cooked, and ?unheated.? Also, as I understand it is outside, there were various cockroaches surrounding us making it completely unpleasant to eat and enjoy our time ? with one being on ourtable with food.
Jessica is the most rude, disrespectful, and vindictive staff member I?ve ever seen at this establishment. Personal grudges don?t have any place in business, especially when it isn?t YOUR business, doubly so when it sends revenue walking out thedoor. On top of that, going behind your MODs back to complain to the GM is never a good choice. I?m sure karma will reward herfor being such a team player. Her behavior reflects quite poorly on both the bar and the hotel. I wouldn?t go there if I wereyou, but if you do, absolutely don?t get your drinks from her.
I used to be one of the most loyal and favorite customers. The behavior tonight from the bartender was truly atrocious and unprofessional. This used to be one of the best bars in Raleigh but has sucomb to woke culture. In addition they employbartenders who believe they are above everyone else and aloud to treat their customers like ATMs and not like people. This barhas gone downhill greatly and I would strongly suggest saving your money for a better experience and better drinks. Overpriced, overrated and you're very much undervalued.
