For our main dishes, I ordered the jumbo chicken taco entrée, while my sister opted for the shrimp entrée. When the food arrived, it looked fantastic. However, after tasting the tacos, I wasn’t very impressed; I felt the chicken could have used more seasoning. My sister thoroughly enjoyed her shrimp, and when I tried it, I thought it was quite good. Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired. The waitress wasn’t very attentive, and I found myself searching for her quite often. Our total bill came to around $33. Will I return? Probably not.
This restaurant is a hidden gem and serves the best beef enchiladas in New Jersey! I know that sounds bold, but they are truly exceptional. They prepare an incredible sweet red mole sauce that is simply unbelievable. I've been coming here for a long time, and I highly recommend it if you find yourself in Rahway. Additionally, their COVID dining standards are the highest I've ever encountered, so you can feel completely safe while enjoying your meal.
We were heading to a different Mexican restaurant but it was closed today. We saw thIs place and decided to give it a try. First of all, it's BYOB, so they have no alcohol. Just in case someone wants to know. I ordered the chimichanga with beef and no tomatoes. It came with rice and your choice of beans. The beans tasted like smashed up baked beans they were good, but didn't taste like refried beans normally do. The chimichanga was good. The menu says it's the biggest thing on menu and they call it HUGE it isn't. My husband ordered the Tijuana nachos chicken. It says it serves 3 4 people, it doesn't. He ordered it for himself for dinner. He said it has a lot of chicken on it and it's all over the nachos, which is a plus. The place has really cool decor. It's small, but warm and inviting. They bring you chips and salsa. The chips are crispy and delicious. The salsa is very good, but different. It tastes like salsa and marinara combined. Tasty!! All in all, it was good.
This place is still amazing ! They do delivery! Ordered for dinner Got the jumbo tacos a burrito so good.
From the exterior, this place looks very Eclectic, to say the least. A big plus, it's BYOB!!!!! We love BYOB! I mean, why wouldn't you? To start. We ordered the Chicken and Cheese Tostones Topped with Pico de Gallo. Def a favorite! Portion is huge for one person, so I recommend sharing it as an app or just having it as an entree. It's great with some hot sauce on top too! Yummy! I ordered buffalo wings because I was craving them. They were super crispy and the sauce was def on the spicer side of buffalo. But very good! (I know, who orders buffalo wings at a Mexican restaurant but when I have cravings, there is no stopping me The beef empanadas. Always a win. Always. Get it, even if it's to just try it. All in all, this place is a gem if you're into Mexican food with a little fusion :
