Three of the appetizers were tasty. The eggplant Parmesan was ok but small and not as cheesy as we like. Certainly not made with reggiano grana but the cheaper kind. The calamaretti alla Luciana could have tasted great had the strained tomato been from riper tomatoes and not dressed with dry herbs. The primo sale was grilled well, but it cooled very quickly. The caprese was definitely disappointing. Again, dried oregano thwarts the experience. Caprese requires fresh basil and and equal amounts of tomatoes and mozzarella. The tortelli were okay, but just like the spaghetti meatballs dressed in low quality passata sauce with the ever present dried oregano. The meatballs were tasteless. At the end of the meal, I walk away with a mouthful of dried oregano. We were hungry, so we ate everything, but I suppose this place caters to tourists with little or no knowledge of Italian cuisine. Such a pity. But expensive, and the overall poor quality makes one wonder why.
Great location, friendly service, but quality of food was not the best. The pasta dishes were greasy and had a slightly “off” taste. Price was higher than expected for the quality.
Absolutely do NOT recommend. Great location and friendly service, but that’s it. Tried the pasta with seafood/ clams and although it didn’t taste bad, wasn’t good either. Slight food poisoning a few hours later, wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Prices don’t match the quality.
Nice location but from 8 various dishes ordered by a group 70% are tasteless. Risotto is good but too wattery.
Good food, very generous dishes, excellent pasta with sardines, exquisite light version of caponatina, good sliced tuna, light and pleasant house wine. We were served by the owner, very courteous, helpful and attentive. Good value for money.
