I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! We have been in Sicily for almost a week dining out for lunch and dinner most nights and this is the best restaurant we have been to! The service, welcoming atmosphere and food could not be faulted! We shared two pasta dishes and a pizza and the portions were generous, the prices affordable and the food incredible! We visited this restaurant on spec during a day in RAGUSA Ibla. There’s a shaded terrace in a side street off the main piazza and also a very smart interior restaurant with a good choice of Sicilian wine: white, red and rose. One of the best restaurants in Sicily! I have spent almost 2 months and never had better food. Service was also superb! Fresh tagliatelle with a delicate zucchini and fresh sausage. Pizza and salad was also just perfect! Very reasonable and delicious local house wine by the carafe. Kudos for a great job!
Very nice dinner location with great ambiance and wonderful food.
Recommended by our B&B host we visited Il Barocco on a warm July evening. We were met by very friendly staff which is always a good start. Good pizza's, a good pupate di cozze, a d good steak and excellent swordfish. The formaggi topici locale (antipasta) were less excellent. The wine selection was good we were properly advised. All in all a good place to avoid the crowds.
Delicious and tasty food. Good recommendation’s from the staff , for us to try authentic Sicilian food. Very service oriented staff .
