We were in marina di ragusa on a Monday evening, where most restaurants are normally closed outside summer time. a vaneda was open and quite full of natives, so... read more We were in marina di ragusa on a Monday evening, where most restaurants are normally closed outside summer time. a vaneda was open and quite full of natives, so we were happy to give it a try, and we all enjoyed a fantastic one. the best way to summarize our experience was excellent and not expensive at all! we were a table of six pizza’s we ordered, which are a house special, as they offer three different types of flour normal, cumin and gluten free and at least different combinations in different sizes! all were excellent and highly recommended. I decided for fried pizza strips with tomaten and rucola that the waiter warned me was a big part, but I knew the others would dig! and I followed with a frit of squid and prawns (lightly shattered and fried), tender and not oily. the calamari were incredibly delicate and savoured in their mouth and the garnel had a real taste that is difficult to find. fresh seafood. the bill for four desserts, softdrinks and water was just eating well and there is no need to break the bank. grundausstattung and friendly staff highly recommended
